I have just retuned from a trip to Europe and visited the Euroshop trade fair in Germany (The largest retail store equipment exhibition) and it is very interesting to have observed that South Africa is no longer behind from a retail design, concept and shopfitting point of view!

Focusing on architecture, jewellery and lifestyle, sectors identified as key areas of development in South Africa, these sessions will run alongside the expo this year, allowing attendance by conference delegates and the public. Jewellery Indaba Pioneer of nanocrystalline diamond, inventor of the multiple ring set and widely regarded as one of the world’s leading studio jewellers, Wendy Ramshaw (UK) is not to be missed. A flaming good birthday by Lans

The Dome in Northgate, Johanesburg, was in flames earlier this week when up to 6000 Nandocas (Nandos employees) from all the nine provinces in South Africa gathered for Nando’s 20th birthday celebration. All of Nando’s resturants were closed for business on the day and no Nando’s chicken was made or sold.
